The characters that strike curiosity and plunge you into other abstract forms of thought and enhance the meaning of your true existence are sometimes found off the beaten path. One such person that I find quite interesting is a man that goes by the name Hunter S. Thompson. This individual takes you deep into human experiences with other forms of methods. This is mainly due to heavy drug use and excessive amounts of alcohol use. Although many people found their light in other way, he portrays the mind as a gateway, and uses substances as a key to unlock your inner conflicts to show you things at different perspectives. Ultimately when you reach the other side of the inner workings of your mind, sometimes the vessel you inhabit is of no use. Sadly he committed suicide, but leaves a legacy in his wake, sort of red pill, blue pill scenario.

Have your say!
